Voorwoord.
Hierdie lesings word almal aangebied met dank aan die Clackfamilie wat hierdie webwerf tot stand gebring het om daardeur die evangelie van die Here Jesus Christus aan almal bekend te stel. Ek gee erkenning daaraan dat ek in die uitwerk en aanbieding van hierdie klomp lesings baie swaar leun op wyle prof. PJS de Klerk se Handboek vir Gewyde Geskiedenis, wyle prof. JH Kroeze se Handboek Bybelse Geskiedenis: Ou Testament en ds MJ Booyens se Laat my Lammers wei. Verder het ek ook verskillende kommentare gebruik. Ek het in alle gevalle my eie insigte daarby ingewerk. Ek het met prof. BJ de Klerk geskakel en sy vergunning gekry om die handboek van PJS de Klerk se teks as basis te gebruik. Die boek word nie gebruik om enige winste mee te maak nie. Bellville se Gereformeerde Kerk gebruik dit as katkisasie- en Bybelstudiehandleiding.
